Hi. How can we help?

Scheduling overview

Scheduling is the ideal tool for managing specialized services at your golf club, allowing your customers to reserve services such as on-site simulators, lessons, club fittings, and areas like tennis courts. This helps to streamline reservations while enhancing your customers' overall club experience.

Accessing scheduling

All employees can access scheduling by selecting it from the left-hand menu.

The four modules that makeup scheduling are business hours, services, service areas, and employees.

All of our help center content for scheduling can be found Lightspeed scheduling help center.

Understanding business hours

Business hours represent the availability of your entire business. These hours are the default time slots for your services, service areas, and employees, but each can have different availabilities.

A direct link to your customer-facing booking site is also accessible. This lets you quickly review what your customers will see when booking themselves online.

More information about business hours can be found in its dedicated help center article.

Understanding scheduling services

Services represent activities like golf lessons and simulator bookings.

You can add information about each service, assign employees and service areas, and set prices and tax rates. Additionally, you can manage booking options, including hours of availability.

More information about scheduling services can be found in its dedicated help center article.

Understanding service areas

Service areas are the locations in your business where your services are provided, such as driving range bays, conference rooms, or tennis courts. Default schedules and one-time changes can be used to organize when service areas are available, and scheduling services can be assigned to service areas.

More information about service areas can be found in its dedicated help center article.

Understanding employees

The employees section allows you to manage availability for each employee and make one-time changes for exceptions like sick days or holidays. Additionally, you can assign services each employee offers and if they can be booked.

More information about scheduling employees can be found in its dedicated help center article.

Using the scheduling history report

Navigate to Reports > Scheduling History under Reservations to access the scheduling history report. In it, you can review information for past and future reservations.

The report will display all reservations during the period selected with the calendar. Details include date and time, service, duration, customer name, price summary, service area, and assigned employee if applicable.

The report can be sorted by date & time, service, or location. Additionally, clicking Export Report will export the chosen data as a CSV file.
