Lightspeed Golf has three employee roles designed to streamline access to the tee sheet while maintaining control over sensitive information and permissions. The roles of Starter, Viewer, and Limited Viewer offer varying levels of visibility and interaction with the tee sheet.
These roles only grant access to the tee sheet module.
Similarities between starter and viewer roles
Starter, Viewer, and Limited Viewer roles are designed with predefined permissions tailored to tee sheet access. These roles share several capabilities and also have some common restrictions to help maintain operational control and data security. The lists below summarize what these roles can and cannot access.

These employee roles can not:
- Process payments
- Mass cancel reservations
- Adjust tee sheet
- Redeem vouchers
- Add or edit private notes
- Add or edit public notes

- Review reservation products

Differences between starter and viewer roles
While these roles have many similarities, there are also key differences that affect what employees can see and do on the tee sheet. Each role offers a progressively higher level of access.
Limited Viewer
Limited Viewers have the most restricted access. They can view only the basic information listed in the section above and do not have access to additional functionality.
Viewer
Viewers inherit all Limited Viewer permissions, with added access to key reservation details that help with daily operations.

Starter
Starters have the highest level of access among these roles. They can view and update more detailed reservation and pace-of-play information, helping manage on-course activity more effectively.
