Using Loyal Action in Restaurant POS (K-Series)

Loyal Action gift cards and credit books let you issue store credit, reward loyal customers, and simplify transactions. Whether you're offering a one-time gift or enabling repeat use, these tools are flexible and easy to manage within your menu.

Locating your Loyal Action menu item(s)

Before issuing or redeeming gift cards and credit books, make sure you can access the correct Loyal Action menu items. These items are created for your account by our team.

You'll usually find them under menu categories such as Other or Etc, but their exact placement can vary. Locate your Loyal Action gift card and credit book items so that you can reference them easily in the steps that follow.

Issuing or contributing to gift cards

Follow these steps to add funds to a new or existing Loyal Action gift card.

  1. Open a new or existing order.
  2. Navigate to your Loyal Action gift card menu item, and tap on it.

  3. Enter the gift card's alphanumeric name or number.

  4. Enter the amount to be added to its balance and tap Create Card or Refill Card.

  5. Tap Ok in the confirmation window.
  6. Tap Pay.
  7. Select a payment method and finalize the sale.

Redeeming gift cards

Follow these steps to apply a customer's gift card balance to an order.

  1. Open a new or existing order.
  2. Ensure the order contains all menu items and is ready to be finalized.
  3. Navigate to your Loyal Action gift card menu item, and tap on it.

  4. Enter the gift card's alphanumeric name or number.

  5. Enter the amount to be used towards the order, then tap Withdraw card.

  6. If applicable, enter a tip amount, review the total charge amount, and tap Confirm payment.

  7. Tap Ok in the confirmation window.
  8. Tap Pay.
  9. Select a payment method and finalize the sale if there is an outstanding balance.

Contributing to credit books

Follow these steps to contribute to a customer's credit book balance.

  1. Open a new or existing order.
  2. Navigate to your Loyal Action Credit Book menu item, and tap on it.

  3. Search for the credit book by customer email or name, then tap on it from the search results.

  4. Enter the amount to be added to its balance and tap Top Up.

  5. Tap Ok in the confirmation window.
  6. Tap Pay.
  7. Select a payment method and finalize the sale.

Redeeming credit books

Follow these steps to apply credit from a credit book to their current order.

  1. Open a new or existing order.
  2. Ensure the order contains all menu items and is ready to be finalized.
  3. Navigate to your Loyal Action Credit Book menu item, and tap on it.

  4. Search for the credit book by customer email or name, then tap on it from the search results.

  5. Enter the amount to be used towards the order and tap Withdraw.

  6. Review the payment and tip amounts, and tap Confirm Payment.
