Managing ACH bank accounts

You can add a customer's bank account as a payment method in Lightspeed Golf if you are a US customer integrated with Stripe. Golfers can also add ACH bank accounts directly to their customer profile using Instant Account Verification.

Customers can always dispute charges, but ACH disputes result in automatic losses because we are not given dispute rights.

Adding a new bank account

  1. Navigate to the customer's profile in Lightspeed Golf, and click Payment Methods.
  2. Select Add > Bank Account.
  3. Enter the customer's bank account details.
  4. Click Add.

The status will show as Pending while Stripe initiates a micro-deposit process to verify the account. This process can take three to four business days. If micro-deposits are not issued or you encounter errors, contact Stripe support at support@stripe.com.

We recommend advising your customers to add their bank account online using Instant Account Verification to avoid delays.

Verifying the bank account

You can complete the verification process in Lightspeed Golf once the customer has confirmed the micro-deposits.

  1. Click Verify next to the pending bank account.
  2. Enter the micro-deposit amounts.
  3. Click Add.

The bank account will be available for payments once it is Verified.
