Hi. How can we help?

Preventing a customer from booking online

Blocking a customer from booking online can be necessary in cases where they have been negligent or banned from playing at the course. This can be handled efficiently by creating and adjusting the settings for a new player type.

Creating a blocked player type

You will first want to create a new player type, named appropriately for the situation, which will appear on the customer's dashboard when they attempt to create a booking.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Player Types and click Create.

  2. Set the Type to Member.
  3. Navigate to Online Booking and disable Bookable online.

  4. Click Save.

Assigning the blocked player type to a customer

After creating the player type, it is necessary to assign it to the delinquent customer's profile.

  1. Navigate to the customer's profile.
  2. Click Edit.

  3. Assign the player type from the Local Player Type drop-down list, at the bottom of the window.

  4. Click Save.

Confirming the blocked player type is excluded from price sheets

The final step is to ensure that the new player type you've created is not included in any of your assigned price sheets. More information can be found in the dedicated content for price sheets.

  1. Navigate to Tee Times & Pricing > Price Sheets and select a price sheet that you are using.
  2. Click Edit, then Edit this price sheet.
  3. Click the player type drop-down list within any price bracket to see which player types are included in the price sheet.
  4. Confirm that the blocked player type has black text, to ensure that it is not included in the price sheet.
    • Player types that are highlighted in blue or appear with grey text are included in the price sheet.
  5. Click Update.
  6. Repeat this process for any of your other applied price sheets.
