This workflow is typically used for customers that have billing privileges but it can be used for all customers. *Lightspeed Payments (card not present) gateway is required to utilize this feature.
Adding a credit card from a customer profile
In the customer profile, select the Payment Methods tab and click on Add a Credit Card.
Adding a credit card from the tee sheet
For existing customers in your database, you can click on the "Credit Card" icon in the top right-hand corner and enter their credit card details, in a reservation.
You can also click on the payment tab and add a credit card from there.
For new customers, you would have to capture their contact information and save the reservation prior to entering their credit card details.
Note: You have the option to configure your online bookings to "Require Credit Card on file" for all your members and guests alike.
