Hi. How can we help?

October product updates roundup

From tee sheet improvements to hospitality updates, here’s what’s new in October.

New

Request House Account payments by email

Payment Requests are available to clubs with House Accounts version 2 and an active Lightspeed Payments gateway. Send a payment link to any email address to collect payment toward a House Account balance. The recipient doesn’t need to log in, and anyone with the link can pay, so share it only with the intended recipient.

Update

Find moved reservations in the Activity Log

When a reservation moves to another tee time, its Activity Log entry now includes a link to the other tee time. Use it to move between the logs for the original and new tee times.

  • Tee Sheet Export now includes guest names.
  • PRO Daily Sales Trends now includes forecasted revenue for the current date.

Lightspeed Retail POS (R-Series)

Update

Strengthen employee PIN security

R-Series now blocks easy-to-guess PIN patterns and temporarily limits authorization attempts after repeated failures. Staff with access to certain sensitive permissions must use a PIN with at least six digits when they next change or receive a PIN.

This new length requirement only applies when a staff member changes their PIN or an admin assigns a new one.

Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series)

Some features take effect automatically, while others require an update. To access all new features, update the Lightspeed Restaurant app through the App Store outside of business hours on all POS devices.
