1. SUBMISSION. The Lightspeed Golf Operator Study 2026 Survey (the “Contest”) begins on October 15th at 9 am and ends on November 25th at 11:59 pm (the “Submission Period”). During the Submission Period, entrants (each an “Entrant”) will have the opportunity to fill out a survey (a “Submission”). Following the end of the Submission Period, one Grand Prize Winner will be selected, as more fully set forth below. By participating in the Contest, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions in their regard of Lightspeed Commerce Inc., 700 St-Antoine E, Suite 300, Montreal, QC H2Y 1A6, Canada (“Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects. In addition, Entrant agrees to do the Submission in the capacity as a Customer of the Sponsor and therefore subject to the Lightspeed Service Agreement, in addition to these Official Rules.
2. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open only to Entrants who are 18 years of age or older. Officers, directors and employees of Sponsor and its parent, subsidiary and affiliate entities and each of their immediate family members and/or individuals residing in the same household are not eligible to enter the Contest or win the Grand Prize. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
3. HOW TO ENTER. To participate in the Contest: (a) Entrant must be a customer of Sponsor based in a country where Lightspeed operates; (b) Entrant must have a subscription to Lightspeed R-Series, X-Series, or NuOrder offered by Sponsor on the date the Contest is launched; and (c) Entrant must fill out the Submission in its entirety. 
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. A random drawing will be conducted on or about November 25th 2026 by Sponsor to select one winner from among all eligible Submissions received during the Submission Period (the “Grand Prize Winner”). Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by email. If a potential Grand Prize Winner: (a) does more than one submission under different email addresses; (b) is found to be not eligible for the Contest which shall be at Sponsor’s sole discretion; (c) does not receive the notification from Sponsor as it is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable; (d) has not complied with these Official Rules; (e) declines the Grand Prize for any reason; or (f) fails to return any requested Prize Claim Documents in the requested time frame, then the potential Grand Prize Winner will forfeit their prize or be disqualified, as applicable, and an alternate Grand Prize Winner may be selected. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. By entering this Contest, Entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters. All federal and state laws apply.
5. GRAND PRIZE. Subject to eligibility and timely return of all required documents, the one Grand Prize Winner will be invited to receive a prize consisting of one prepaid digital gift card with a retail value of one thousand US dollars ($1000.00 USD) (“Gift Card”) as further defined in this Section 5 of the Official Rules. No cash alternatives or prize substitutions will be allowed, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of comparable value if the Grand Prize is unavailable for any reason. Grand Prize may not be assigned or transferred in whole or in part. Grand Prize Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, releases of liability and assumption of all risks and/or a publicity release (Prize Claim Documents). All details and other restrictions of the Grand Prize not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Grand Prize Winner acknowledges and accepts that the Grand Prize is subject to any applicable Gift Card terms. The use of the Gift Card is subject to the acceptance of the Gift Card as a valid means of payment, which shall be determined by the respective seller in its own discretion. If the Gift Card is used for purchases in a different currency than USD, the available value in the foreign currency may depend on the current exchange rate, which may fluctuate from time to time.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE GRAND PRIZE AND THE GIFT CARD, ANY SUBSTITUTES THEREFOR, AND THE CONTEST. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Entrant agrees that Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary and affiliate entities and its and their respective stockholders, officers, directors, agents and employees and successors and assigns of each of the foregoing («Sponsor Entities«): (a) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Contest, the Grand Prize or any Contest-related activity, or from Entrant’s acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, the Grand Prize; and (b) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to the Grand Prize or any substitute prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. FORCE MAJEURE. If Sponsor is prevented from awarding a Grand Prize or continuing with the Contest as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including, without limitation, fire, flood, natural or manmade epidemic of health or other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal, state or local government law, order or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control, then Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, extend or terminate the Contest.
8. GOVERNING LAW; JURISDICTION; VENUE. All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of Entrant, Sponsor or Sponsor Entities in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Quebec without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. Entrant agrees that any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to the Contest or these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Montreal, Quebec.
9. Information that an Entrant provides through a Submission is subject to the Privacy Policy stated here. By doing a Submission, the Entrant agrees that Lightspeed will forward the email address provided by the Entrant in the Submission to the Gift Card provider for redemption of the Gift Card, should the Entrant be the Grand Prize Winner.
