Collecting customer postal codes

You can now collect customer postal codes when managing customer profiles and reservations to better understand customer demographics. Employees can review postal codes from the tee sheet or within customer profiles. Reporting on postal codes can be found in the Rounds by Postal Code Business Intelligence report.

Enabling postal code collection

The postal code field can be quickly enabled in your settings. 

  1. Navigate to Settings > Tee Sheet.
  2. Enable the Collect Postal Code toggle.

The postal code field does not validate postal codes for accuracy, and saved postal codes can be edited only from the corresponding customer's profile. The Member # field will be shortened to Mem # in the reservation information window.

Accessing postal code reporting

Postal code reporting can be found by navigating to Business Intelligence > Rounds > Rounds by Postal Code. This report operates at a round level, as each entry reflects rounds played per postal code.
